• <p>This hoity toity euro-snob would like to point out that it isn't actually food poisoning that has shut the restaurant - that has been ruled out - rather it seems to be a virus. In fact the only poisonous thing on this page is John's rather odious and ill-informed comment.</p> <p>And, yes, the triple-cooked chips (fries) are awesome!</p>

• <p>it's not a new problem in england. i remember in 1974 eating at the trattoria on leister square, my friend ordered the duck..and thankfully, with socialized medicine we went to the hospital..he was treated..but suffered about 12 hours of ridding himself of the poisons. i was lucky. i did not order the duck. indian and indonesian restaurants in england are not held in the highest esteem when it comes to cleanliness, either. now france and italy, and spain and greece! that's another story!! the best food anywhere!!!!</p>
