Mesa Gal's Recipe Lands Her on The Food Network
That Guy Fieri is one busy dude. It seems like he has a lot on his plate hosting Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives (a Chow Bella fave for all the local indie restaurants it's featured), which takes him all around the country, and Guy's Big Bite. But he's also hosting Ultimate Recipe Showdown, now in its second season, and has brought yet another Phoenix metro area name into the national spotlight.
Her name is Jamie Nondorf, and she's a Mesa resident who will appear on the new episode of Ultimate Recipe Showdown this Sunday, Jan. 18, at 9 p.m. Nondorf, a recent dental school grad, is one of four finalists who landed on the show after entering a recipe in the Food Network's nationwide contest. Hers was for key lime coconut cupcakes with white chocolate frosting.
And what does she stand to win? Twenty-five grand, and the chance to have her recipe featured at T.G.I. Friday's.
