As far as know the only ILLEGALS on this AMERICAN CONTINENT are the ones whose ancestors came from somewhere else than the AMERICAN CONTINENT, uninvited, ILLEGALY, invading it, and then claiming beign here legally through I don't know which means. Sorry but this thing called reality in 2013 vs. this childish fantasy about taking up arms against the government wont end well and it wont be a bunch of military dead when it does.

Let me add that if you feel like the way to go is to take up arms against corupt law enforcement (solo or with your pals) you can expect a short life so don't be saving too much money for retirement.

It's 2013, this is the USA. It's reality regardless of how you or I feel about it. You wont beat this government or the law enforcement it supports with AR 15's or even AK 47's. Not even if we throw in a few helecopters and some rocket luanchers just to make it seem fair. You will still be as dead as Bin Laden and remembered as a terrorisst and/or mentally ill gun nuts.

I'd rethink the armed revolution against the US government if I were you.

Except that the transgressors were the county Sheriff and the local police department who murdered James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner. The Federal government from the PRESIDENT down engaged in a massive effort to solve the murders. The little justice that came was a result of that effort. That sort of crime doesn't happen now, right? I'll bet Marty Atencio's family has a different opinion. Where is the Federal government in his case? Oh yeah, bringing Ben Arredondo to heel.

The Mexican self defense patrols are citizens of Mexico, residents of small towns in Mexico that are tired of the depredations of the drug cartels. These people have armed themselves with the few tired guns the Mexican government allows them to own. They aren't trying to put the cartels out of business. They just don't want the killing of innocents that happens everyday. And you would disarm them? Mexicans are like people everywhere. They want to make a living, raise their families, and enjoy the fruits of their labor. They are not less moral. They ARE disarmed by corrupt government officials.

umm, many at the rally that are pro-gun have the confederate flag on their clothing. So yeah, it has something to do with it. Sometimes it helps to actually click and read before commenting on a post.
