Now if McFarlane could just do one of Penzone kickin' a certain fatboy sheriff in the keister...

When I heard Spawn creator Todd McFarlane was doing some art for sheriff's candidate Paul Penzone to raffle off as a fundraiser, I didn't realize he was working on a piece featuring Penzone as a Captain America-esque superhero.

But, hey, it works. Penzone may not be quite this ripped, but unlike roly-poly octogenarian Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Penzone actually looks like he could slap the cuffs on a bad guy.

Arpaio's such a wuss, he goes everywhere with a crew of bodyguards. And I mean, everywhere. Wouldn't surprise me if they follow him to the can.

I can envision Joe as The Penguin a la Danny DeVito. Though, he squawks more like Burgess Meredith's old school version of the villain.

@IndependentVoter Nice spin but not true.. The fact is Penzone was an independent for 9 years before he became a democrat. He was NEVER active in any politics or election. Republican Stauffer was LD7 Sec and his manager was LD7 chair and fully supported tea party politics and Sheriff Joe Arpaio as the LD 7 GOP platform does to this day.. Stauffer only switched to run for sheriff to help Arpaio. Dirty deeds are easy to hide if you rewrite history.

@IndependentVoter Arpaio was a life long dem until he ran for MC Sheriff. Incluing when Arpaio was selling tickets on a non-existent space ship and running for Phx City Council!

i actually remember Mojo. you nailed it with that one. a big fat evil thing that was completely insane. it was so corrupt that anything it touched would rot away from the inside (like he is doing to this county) in its earliest appearances it thought it was on a television show and was doing what it did to try to entertain it audience (like joe with the tea baggers). that is probably the best comparision I've heard yet

NEVER Mention your opponent by name - it's just free publicity. Always say "Mr. Penzone's opponent" from now on. He has been defeated already. Mr. Penzone's opponent is neutered by the Supreme Court.
