Russell Pearce's Worst Nightmare Bob Worsley Wins Chamber Endorsement
A Worsley TV ad, part of a $10K ad buy, according to the Worsley camp
As disgraced ex-state Senate President Russell Pearce recycles old signs from last year's historic recall election, his GOP primary rival Bob Worsley is running $10,000 ad buys on cable TV and racking up endorsements from Mesa Mayor Scott Smith, the other six members of the Mesa City Council, and, today, the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Can I hear an "ouch" in the audience? And then an "Amen, brother," as Worsley, a conservative Republican by any measure, sets the rock crusher to "pummel" and prepares to pave his driveway with what's left of Pearce's career.
(Couldn't happen to a nicer Cactus Country bigot-boy, eh?)
Another TV commercial for Worsley for state Senate
The Chamber's endorsement letter signed by that org's president and CEO Glenn Hamer, states,
"We are excited to endorse a candidate that shares our mission of advancing Arizona's competitive position in the global economy by advocating free-market policies that stimulate economic growth and prosperity for all Arizonans."
Translation: "That wackjob Pearce is no longer Senate president, has zero power, and can go pound sand, for all we care."
