Russell Pearce's Nemesis Randy Parraz and Fellow CBA Members Blast Pearce's Personal $260K Welfare Plan

Parraz and another CBAer, pulling a Martin Luther at the locked doors of the state Senate

If the plot to give 12 point-loser and former state Senate President Russell Pearce $260,000 is squashed (and I'm not convinced that it has been), it will be because of the efforts of Randy Parraz and Citizens for a Better Arizona, the folks that made the Pearce recall a reality in 2011.

Sure, before today, a couple of publications had written about the conspiracy to help Pearce cash in, with the Capitol Times being ahead of the pack, but it had raised little dust elsewhere.

So late last week when the Pearce welfare train looked like it was approaching the station, Parraz planned a press conference for today at the state Senate.

Every media outlet was present, and most importantly, the TV cameras were there en masse, soaking up a stunt where Parraz and his fellow CBA-ers attempted to present state Senate Majority Leader Andy Biggs -- a Pearce loyalist and leader of the effort to reimburse him -- with a resolution calling on Biggs and his colleagues to stay true to their small government, Tea Party roots, and just say no to welfare for Russ.

Biggs, of course, would not come out of hiding to meet with Parraz, and the Senate doors were locked to all but lobbyists, so Parraz had the dozen or so CBA members present sign the resolution. Then he slid it under the Senate doors.

"This is another embarrassment," Parraz said after leaving his little present for Biggs. "[Pearce] got beat by 12 points, so he should pay us all back...You don't get recalled for doing your job. You get recalled because you didn't do your job."

Mr. Parraz certainly deserves a round of applause for standing up to the Republican criminals at the state Capitol building and telling them to DENY narcissistic, corrupt and mentally sick Pearce the $260K in taxpayer cash.

As for the altercation in DC, I have not read anything about it, so it is difficult for me to tell who is correct.

Now, let's keep Pearce down for the count. Make sure he doesn't get that $260K and even if he does, he has to use it to pay Sal Reza's federal court judgment once it's entered in to the record.

Why do they lock the doors to all but the lobbyists?

Somebody please give me a valid, legal reason for doing so.

I know those of us without affiliations to Neo-Nazis or the EV Tea Party are outraged and with good reason. Discussing the issue here is a good start but we need to sound off to those involved. Last evening I started contacting our legislators who are known to support Pearce's "refund" and also thank those legislators who oppose it. I've already received a reply from Sen. Steve Pierce denying his involvement. Let's continue to put the pressure on!  Supporting the "refund" are:Sen Steve Pierce, Rep. Steve Montenegro, Rep. Brenda Barton. Opposing:Sen. David Schapira, Sen. Rich Crandall, Sen. Leah Landrum-Taylor. You may want to contact your district legislators and ask their stance on this issue. We have the power, let's use it!!

If Andy Biggs truly cared about Pearce's Recall Election, he would demand an Investigation into the Rigging, and Manipulating that took place!

Pearce, his Brother, Two Neices, a Tea Party Official, Mrs. Cortez, and all involved should get about Two Years in Jail as a "Consolation Prize" for this Class Five Felony.

Was Biggs involved in the Electoral Rigging/Manipulating scheme?

Dirty Mormon Politicians covering their Brothers?

"
locked to all but lobbyists"

That's about the most shameful thing around.  Only the paid professional representatives of special interests are allowed in.  The same is true at the federal level.  We the people lost control of our government a long time ago.

Why doesn't Pearce just go back to the donors who gave him the $260,000 for his failed campaign and ask them for another $260,000 to finance his failing campaign?

As for taxpayer monies, no.  Absolutely hell no.

Biggs was right not to come out to meet Parraz. Parraz would have physically assaulted Biggs. That's how Parraz rolls.

The reason the doors are locked Eleanor is that you or I might ask questions about what they are doing with out money.

Parraz would get no where with violence.  He succeeds with plain spoken speech and igniting the angers of many people.

shadeaux14

Are you implying that Parraz is more prone to violence because he's Latino?

When has Parraz EVER used violence?

Your attitude toward Latinos is EXACTLY the reason 1070 is a bad idea. Your idea of probable cause is driving while brown and many of your homies feel the same way.

Your truthfulness infuriates me............. Arrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh...............

It's public record, right?

It's greed........................... pure and simple bastardized greed.

Who are these lobbyists?

If I didn't understand the depth of corruption in Arizona I would think this was just a bad, bad movie and maybeI should leave the theatre.

Race bait much?

The only one making race an issue is you, the already confirmed bigot.

Yourproductsucks

I recognize both you and your pal shadeaux have bigoted views.  Shadeaux generalizes Mormons and you generalize employees of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.  You both harshly judge entire groups of people negatively based on the actions of a few.

That's bigoted behavior.

I have a serious question to pose to you, and I'm not being a dick about it.

Why do you think everyone who disagrees with you is a bigot? From what I've been reading, you really sound like Rachel Alexander. The only major difference is that Mr. Lemons doesn't ban anyone from his blog for simply expressing an opposing viewpoint.

I don't know the other guy.  He isn't a public figure.  Parraz is.  Shame on Parraz for acting like a petulant child.

Yet you single out Randy Parraz as the aggressor while stating that he will claim racism. Sounds like you are the one wanting to interject racism into every discussion.

What I am going to say might not have anything to do with this altercation...but since last week I have heard many times from different people "if they want war then it is war they will get".

I don't understand this attitude from either side. Hostility, anger, bigotry....they all get in the way of absolving the issue. I understand people are passionate about this issue on both sides but being dumb, on both sides, doesn't work.

That's my take from the outside looking in anyway.

Yourproductsucks

There was a witness who stated both parties were pushing and shoving each other in a "heated" altercation.  Hardly appropriate conduct by either person involved.

I've discovered its not the link but my inability to follow it from my iphone.  My bad.  I heard the interview.  Gallardo's description of what happened leaves plenty of room to see that Parraz assaulted someone.  He felt he was being cut out and he reacted physically.

Parraz is a bully.

The link worked fine for me. Why is it that when some one posts a link to disprove your point, you claim that the link is broken ? "Gallardo isn't what I would call an unbiased source of information"..........But some one in Pearce's band of liars is ? OK.

The article states that a member of Pearce's liars club accused Sen. Gallardo of shoving him. You take the word of some one in Pearce's liars club as truth ?

Read it for yourself-

Parraz was interviewed and admitted to participating in a 'shoving match' that began after the two involved 'bumped into' one another. This is typical of his actions. I guess you Parraz supporters will claim the Capitol Police are racists and that is why Parraz was 'aggressively escorted out.'
