Obviously Peoria,Az. Police Sgt. Pat Shearer was using bad judgment in posting a dumb photo which would beg questions from the Secret Service. But however dumb it was for Pat to post such a picture, for his friend to see ,it was far less egregious than the media   blasting it around the country and the world so that every disgruntled skin head , Taliban or Al Qaeda could savor  it. Some of the media tried to tie in Gov. Jan Brewer's finger waving in Obama's face , into the T-shirt story ! 
 I wish the media would have spent as much time chastising then Sen. Hillary Clinton for tipping off our enemies as to what the real easy targets were around NYC!

having lived in Az I have noticed a few things which are NOT the California friendly way.  and oh yes there are places in calif obama would stick out like a sore thumb too.  but back to az and these kids.  Az law provides that you can carry a gun in public.  obviously someone has been training these kids in appropriate gun behavior see the ear protection.  also thes kids live just outside Phoenix: Human Trafficing Capitol of AZ.  Hell yes I would want my kids to know how to use a gun if they were there.  And so they shot a t shirt for target practic.  They did not threaten to shoot the white house or president from what I am seeing.   If they had shot beer cans were they threatening beer manufacturing. If they had shot a marijuana shirt would they be against Marijuana.  These kids are learning proper gun use leave them alone.  They have a right to protect themselves and express themselves they had no choice in the election and neither did I.  I had surgery that day Obama was elected.  Have you been to a Border Patrol office????

If these kids had been doing this to Bush, the police would have rounded them up for treason or threatening the life of the president. Santorum seconded the the continued stereotyping of blacks in his speeches with "I don't to make black people's lives better by giving them somebody else's money." Every TEA-GOP-Republican knows their oratory wording can make or break them depending on which state they are stumping and even the area of that state. They are all career politicians.

These children look to adults to be role models. Pat Shearer failed in that task; he had a responsibility to teach them to respect other people, as they would wish to be respected.

what is sad is that these kids have not yet formed an opinion of their own and are doing this because of what they are being told by people who are supposed to be raising good citizens. While he has a First Amendment right to do this (similar to flag burning), it's still a potential threat to the president and therefore needs to be checked out by the Secret Service.

He's in more hot water from the police department since he did violate their rules/polocies in regards to officer conduct and social media sites, rules he agreed to be governed by when he accepted the job.

As a numerous year police veteran who has worked his way up the ranks, he should have known better.
