New attack ads against Mesa racist Russell Pearce, and wild man Jack Harper.

Check out these new attack ads against anti-Mexican Mesa pol Russell Pearce and GOP wild man Jack Harper, state Senator from LD 4. Both are brought to us by two independent expenditure committees, People of Arizona and Protect Arizona's Future. The anti-Pearce ad faults the Republican legislator for disobeying Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment: "Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican." (Some GOP-er said it before Reagan, but the Gipper made it popular.) Contrary to GOP God Ronnie, Pearce badmouths fellow Republicans all the time, blasting anyone who doesn't toe the white power party-line on immigration. The ad itself is a little staid, especially when you compare it with the one against Harper titled "Harpers Bizarre."

You'll recall that Harper's currently under investigation by the Arizona Senate Ethics Committee for cutting the mikes of Democratic Senators Ken Cheuvront and Paula Aboud during a filibuster aimed at hindering a vote on the same-sex marriage ban amendment. Some of the quotes culled for the ad are stunning, and to be honest, rib-tickling. You gotta love it when wing-nuts set to devouring one of their own.

Personally, I'm waiting for the attack ad showing a pic of J.T. Ready and Russell Pearce arm-in-arm, and then one of J.T. at a neo-Nazi rally in Omaha, Nebraska in 2007. Hope they don't forget to include the e-mail Pearce forwarded from the neo-Nazi National Alliance to his supporters in 2006, or his comments about the need for another "Operation Wetback," like they had during the Eisenhower era.

Do Sand Land Republicans give a rat's patootie about Pearce snuggling up to neo-Nazi buffoons, or his proposal of racist initiatives, like his desire to see so-called "anchor babies" (otherwise known as American citizens) denied birth certificates? I hope someone has the balls to target Pearce in attack commercials and elsewhere for his slithery, supremacist activities.
